Manhattan Sailing School's newest facility is at Liberty Harbor.

Liberty Harbor is located in Jersey City on the north side of Morris Canal.  This is an up & coming neighborhood with many new residential and commercial buildings being developed.

Our school keeps several boats on T-dock which is just west of the fuel dock.  There is a locked gate at the top of this dock so meet your instructor at the gate.

By Foot or Bike:  From wherever you are in Jersey City, go to Marin Blvd and go south.  The road dead ends at the marina. Meet at Waterways Ferry Waiting Area in between, under the canopy .

Coming from Manhattan:  There are 3 main ways to get to the Liberty Harbor in Jersey City:

1) By PATH train - Take the Path Train from WTC   Station (downtown) 2 stops to the Grove Street Station.  After exiting the train, turn left & walk to the end of the station to exit.  You are now on Marin Blvd.  Walk South on Marin Blvd. to the end (a 5-10 minute walk) and meet under the canopy of the Waterways Ferry waiting area .    

NOTE:  The Path from 33rd St Station in NY runs first to Hoboken on the weekends, increasing travel time considerably.  It is recommended to  travel to WTC Station for the Path. 

2) By NY Waterway Ferry from Pier 11 East River.  The ferry stops at Liberty Harbor Marina and T dock is just to the west of the ferry landing.  But check the schedule because the ferry does not run on weekends.  www.nywaterway.com

3) By car - Best exit from NYC is the Holland Tunnel.  Upon exiting, take the FIRST left. (Marin Blvd) .  Continue straight till the end.  You will be in the Liberty Harbor parking lot. Meet in the Waterway Waiting area.
