Cove
North Cove is located on the Hudson River in Battery Park City, Lower Manhattan. This glamorous marina is right in front of the World Financial Center.
North Cove is our premium location and headquarters of our school. This is one of the most beautiful locations in Manhattan and frequently referred to as "Monaco on the Hudson."
At North Cove, we offer Basic Sailing on weekends and weekday evenings.
Tuition for Basic Sailing at North Cove is $590 per person.
There are also group discounts for 2 or more people.
Weekend Schedule
Weekends
are popular for Basic Sailing. This is an
intensive course and you'll learn to sail in one weekend.
You start with a classroom session on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and then
sail on Saturday and Sunday, for a total of 22 hours on
instruction. This is similar to learning a
foreign language through immersion. Weekend students come away with a high level of
knowledge and skill.

Weekday Evening Schedule
Weekday evening courses are one evening per week for five consecutive weeks for a total of 15 hours. Classes run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. Weekday evening classes are offered on Mondays or Thursdays.

- Week 2, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. - On-Water Instruction
- Week 3, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. - On-Water Instruction
- Week 4, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. - On-Water Instruction
- Week 5, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. - On-Water Instruction & Certification Test
- (Week 6 - make up if needed for any students)
