De Caribbean Regatta 2006 A whole new adventure of discovery and exploration awaited the sailors of the year's Caribbean Regatta. We headed down to the Grenadines in the southern Caribbean. Less discovered and developed than the BVIs, this beautiful collection of islands provided many surprises and delights. And true to form, the wind blew as well for the first 3 days. By the end of the week, sailors laid back on the decks, put their feet in the water and sighed a great sigh as the Caribbean spirit inhabited their bodies and the cares of cold and wintry New York evaporated through their shoulders. If you were not there, you can still relive some of the magic by viewing these pictures. Day 1 - Mayreau (Righteous Robert's) Day 2- Clifton Harbor (Harbor Island) Day 3 - Chatham Bay (Shark Attack Dinner) Day 4 - Tobago Cay (Jim's Party) Day 5 - Mustique (Blues Festival) |
